Pink Peonies Print & Mug

I’ve been wanting to add a floral print to my collection for a while and finally found some time to work on a jar full of blooms. I took inspiration from an image of pink peonies on a florist’s website and bunched the flowers together a little more. I haven’t drawn flowers in a while and really enjoyed scribbling these. I find it interesting that my mind tries to be a lot more ordered when I illustrate than when I paint. But when I really paid attention to the petals and arrangement, these flowers were a lot more ramshackle than the image my mind was trying to create. I hope I’ve captured the pretty messiness and that you enjoy having this print and mug in your home. Both now available in my shop and a perfect treat for you or someone you love.
