Hug Book

Over the past two years I’ve been drawing hugs to comfort myself and others. I asked people how hugs made them feel and this book is a gathering of my illustrations coupled with their replies. I loved how many different words people used to describe the feeling. And I especially loved how children often had the same simple response ... Happy.

My other books are all available through print on demand services, which works really well for them, but for this book I wanted something that was a little more like a mini work of art. So I chose my own size (120mm x 170mm), a really great quality paper (170gsm uncoated)and 350gsm paper for the cover which gives a gorgeous quality feel. I then printed them with a small indie printer who I love.

I really hope that this book will bring you and your loved ones as much comfort as making it has brought me.
