Illo Advent 2021

I’m excited to be taking part in my 8th #illo_advent challenge. This is the challenge that really inspired me to start drawing. I followed it on Twitter and threw myself in, packing away any insecurity I felt underneath my desire to join in and to learn. It was a fantastic way of experimenting and of training myself to care less about making mistakes. Each year, I pick a theme and this year I had the idea of Christmassy folks messing around in a photo booth with Christmas props. I tell you, coming up with 24 props is tricky!
