Animals in Jumpers
I’m so happy to introduce you to my brand new picture book A Christmas Alphabet of Animals in Jumpers. This book has been a real labour of love to draw. Each year I love taking part in the #illo_advent challenge on social media. You draw something Christmassy for each day of advent and share the pictures for fun. I’ve been doing the challenge for about 7 years and love how much it has helped me to develop my drawing style. This year, I decided to draw one of my favourite things, animals in jumpers. And not only that but I thought I’d gather all the animals into a picture book for little ones (and grown up ones!) to enjoy this festive season.
The book is made up of 26 pages of animals in cosy jumpers PLUS lots of little additional Christmassy things to spot beginning with each letter. A brilliant badger in a bobble hat, surrounded by bells and baubles. Proud penguins perched on presents putting up paper chains. A kind kangaroo carrying Christmassy koalas. And lots more! I hope you and the little ones in your life really enjoy it!
